This VIP , foundational course is made for dog lovers who always think, “They’d love it here.” Whether you’re new to training or just want to make camping trips more dog-friendly, this program helps your pup settle in, stay safe, and actually enjoy the experience with you.
From fire pit hangs to mat work in the wild, everything we do is built around real camp scenarios — so you can relax and know your dog is right where they belong.
Camping-Specific Foundations:

About the program:
For the dogs who are ready to go farther — and the people who want to enjoy the journey.
Pathfinders is the second level in our Paws to Peaks series, designed for dogs and humans ready to move beyond base camp and onto the trail.
This course builds on your foundation with real-world hiking skills, including loose leash walking on varied terrain, trail etiquette, and distraction-proofing in outdoor spaces — so you can explore new places together with confidence.
As part of the course, you'll also receive a PET TECH Safe Hiking Training to prepare you and your pup for responsible, well-equipped adventures in nature.
What You’ll Learn:
